Founded by Lutherans in the United States at the end of World War II, grounded in Lutheran theology and building on decades of experience, Lutheran World Relief tackles global poverty by helping people adapt to the challenges that threaten their livelihoods and well-being. LWR works with people of all races, religions, and nationalities to provide aid in emergencies and help families restore their lives.
Supporting Mobile Medical Clinics in Ukraine
An anonymous member has again offered a matching gift up to $5,000 during the month of May for Lutheran World Relief! This year funds will benefits mobile medical clinics. A gift of $5,000 supports fuel and supplies as they care for those unable to evacuate. CHALLENGE: How many weeks can we support?
Gifts for LWR can be made by placing in the offering plate (indicate in the check memo 'LWR match') or online (select the LWR block). We look forward to hearing more from LWR when they are here in worship on May 12th!
