Our mission partner in the city is Redeemer Lutheran Church (1800 Glenwood Ave).
As a “beacon of hope” in the Harrison neighborhood, the Redeemer community worships and prays together, studies the Bible, and provides a variety of activities and opportunities for ministry including an all-ages choir, hip-hop dance, sewing, Sunday school, quilting, youth group, and more.
RCFL is the community non-profit organization associated with Redeemer Lutheran Church. Since its inception in 1998, RCFL has served the community of Harrison and her neighbors with a vision of both promoting and offering attainable living for all. RCFL provides a range of year-round youth programs, with creative, civic and leadership development. Community engagement remains at the core of the organization’s culture and the primary source of RCFL’s vision, strategy and evolution. Immanuel has a long-standing relationship with Redeemer and RCFL. We provide financial support to both the congregation and the non-profit, as well as opportunities to experience the vibrancy of this city congregation.
