I loved getting back into volleyball”, “lots of fun!”, “Great fun as always”, were just a few comments after last year’s winter volleyball league at Immanuel.

• Get involved this year as a team, individual or group.
• Only $20/person for theThursday night league which runs throughout the months of January and February.
• Teams are co-ed.
• Games are played in Luther Hall at Immanuel.
• Our court is slightly smaller than regulation. Court material is a durable, short carpet.
• We do not have paid referees. Participants are asked to call themselves on infractions.
• Teams will play 1 match (3 games) each Thursday.
• Childcare is available upon request - 1 week advanced notice.
• Sign yourself up along with a friend or five and burn away those winter blues!
• Please register no later than December 20th.

We have a limited space for teams, so sign up as an individual or a team as soon as possible. The first game on a Thursday would begin at 6:15 p.m.. Depending upon how many teams register, the final game would end at either 9:00 p.m. or 9:30 p.m.

"Joining the Immanuel volleyball league has allowed us to meet and interact with people in our new church community in a very relaxed, nonthreatening way. We have found the physical activity uplifting for both our body and mind as we can’t help but smile, laugh, and feel good the whole time we are participating. The timing of the league couldn’t have been better as January and February are months where winter seems never-ending, and our bodies are in desperate need of movement. Our favorite part of the experience has been that everyone has been welcoming, supportive, and very positive with a very “we got this!” mindset. It is fun to look forward to our weekly games with the expectation of feelings of rejuvenation and fellowship.
