Garage Sale

May 3, 2025: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The Garage Sale is a "Free Will Donation" event. This means that during the sale there will not be prices marked on individual items. This greatly reduces the work required by those setting up the sale and makes it more manageable. We do encourage everyone to donate as they are able for goods purchased, as funds earned at the Garage Sale support our youth attending life changing faith events and trips! As you start your spring cleaning, save items for the Immanuel Garage Sale!

The sale is a great event for the entire community and your help is needed.

Please sort items onto tables when dropping them off

This year we are asking you to:

• sort clothing donations by gender and size (which is the most time consuming task when setting up for the sale), and
• also sort all other donations into table groups.

So, when dropping off donation items, please place them on corresponding marked tables at Immanuel located in Luther Hall and the atrium (Clothing by gender and size, Kitchen Goods, Sport Equipment, etc...).

Donations that are clean and in good working condition will be accepted.

Items we cannot accept

Sorry, we are not able to accept donations of: 

• computers, printers
• televisions, entertainment centers
• exercise equipment
• car seats
• cribs
• Christmas/Holiday items
• ceiling fans and light fixtures
• items with rips, tears, stains, soils, scratches, pet hair, mildew or any other types of damage
• hanging lights and non-working electrical appliances
• home remodeling items
• text books, encyclopedias
• VHS & cassette tapes
• window shades and blinds
• swing sets and patio furniture
• metal or wooden desks
• office furniture
• wardrobes/armoires, large hutches
• pianos or electric organs
• TVs & console stereos
• old, weathered, dirty children's plastic toys/furniture

Donation drop off begins at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, April 27

Also, drop items off during the following hours:

• Sunday, 10:30am-12:00pm
• Monday-Tuesday, 8:30am-4:30pm
• Wednesday, 8:30am-8:30pm
• Thursday, 8:30am-7:00pm
• Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
• We request that large furniture items be dropped off only on Friday, before 5 p.m.
• Items must be dropped off by 5 p.m. Friday evening (so we have time to organize them).
