Immanuel supports the work of LSS by:
- Giving financial support through Benevolence dollars and designated giving.
- Immanuel has been blessed by the Circle of Welcome program helping Afghan refugees with resettlement. Learn more!
- Supporting youth at Rezek House (transitional housing in St Paul) with Christmas Gifts
- Sending Camp Noah teams to communities affected by disaster
Opportunities to volunteer with LSS include:
- Neighbor to Neighbor Companions - Provide visits to assist older adults to remain living independently in their own homes
- Training and Education Center Assistants - assist the lead trainer and participants during job skills courses, provide general computer assistance, share your work experience and expertise during classes, help with resume and mock interviews and share encouragement.
- Refugee Support
- Foster Grandparent
Metro Benefit for Youth
Tuesday, May 7th, 5:30pm at Quincy Hall in Minneapolis
Celebrate all the ways that together with Lutheran Social Services, we are reaching further to support youth and families with the resources they need to live full and abundant lives! This fundraiser will include a social hour, dinner and program, and conversations with LSS staff to learn more about the needs of metro youth. Limited space available at Immanuel's reserved table!
