Lutheran Social Services is working on immediate resettlement of 9 families (37 people) arriving between now and April 20th. LSS needs to be able to furnish a house or apartment for each of these 9 families - which is a large task. There is an immediate need for furniture and household items to create a welcoming home for these refugee families.
How you can help:
Check out the LSS Refugee Services target registry to purchases household items to stock the new homes for these families.
If you have any of the following larger furniture items that you are willing to donate, please contact LSS directly by emailing Kara Barkman.
LSS is also looking for assistance with move-in days for these families, if you would like to volunteer to help with moving contact Deacon Savannah.

When a child is adopted by loving parents; when a family is able to pay their rent and stay in their home; when an older adult living alone receives a friendly visitor and a warm meal. In these moments, your generosity makes it possible for Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS) to meet the immediate needs of our neighbors.
Over the past year, your generosity allowed LSS to support our neighbors in a variety of ways.
