Help shape Immanuel's vision
Help shape Immanuel’s vision
In 2016 Immanuel will pay off its mortgage debt, thanks to the generous response of our congregation during the
5 for 50 Capital Campaign. As we look forward to our next appeal, we are asking for your continued enthusiasm and support, beginning with your participation in the visioning process.
Four-step Visioning Process
Through this four-step process we will hear the voices of our members, our current staff and community leaders. Our goal is to understand the hopes and values of our congregation and discern God’s call as we strive to live our vision of
Called to care. Sent to serve.
1. CHURCH ASSESSMENT TOOL (CAT): March 15 – April 15
2. CONGREGATIONAL SYSTEMS INVENTORY (CSI): March 15 – April 15
All current staff and council members from the past five years will be asked to complete a survey about the effectiveness of our processes and the roles of our congregational leaders.
3. ENVIRONMENTAL SCAN: April/May
Internal, May 19 & 21
In order to identify the congregation’s gifts and passions we will conduct interviews and hold listening sessions with a randomly selected sample of Immanuel members. This will enable us to deepen our understanding of our members’ perspectives on ministry, their needs, and their hopes for Immanuel.
