Prayer and Praise Women's Book Study

New book discussion November 17 - January 26  (REGISTER)

Women of Immanuel are invited to Living Room on Mondays from 10:00 to 11:30am beginning November 17. We will be discussing Philip Yancey’s book, Vanishing Grace (November 17-January 26). Yancey tackles challenging and timely questions and offers a discerning look at what contributes to the rising hostility toward Christians—acknowledging the ways that Christians themselves have contributed to this hostility and exploring how we can respond with both grace and truth. No meeting November 24 or January 19. Please purchase a book on your own.

Hops and Hope: Book Discussion Group

Third Thursday each month, September - May

Join us each month as we read a book on faith, justice and what it means to find hope in Christ amid a messy and complex world. Each month we will read a book and gather at Immanuel (bring your favorite beverage!) to discuss and explore how the words we read impact the lives we live. Wednesday Morning Women's Bible Study

Wednesdays, 9:30 - 11:00am beginning December 3

Jesus - Who is this son of a carpenter who could preach, heal diseases, and cast out demons? Pointing to Jesus as the promised King of kings, this study shows how Jesus’s earthly ministry is good news for all, especially the downtrodden, the hurting, and the outsider. Join us as we begin our next study, "Luke: Good News of Great Joy" by Lydia Brownback. This 10 week study begins on December 3 and meets weekly 9:30-11:00am.  Questions? Join us on Wednesday evenings as we explore all that and more with the help of videos from Dr. Molly Worthen. Our exploration begins with a night of learning about some of the ministries we partner with on September 10th and runs through May. Register today!

Saturday Women's Bible Study

Are you looking for a once a month women's Bible study? Consider joining us on the first Saturday of the month, from 9:00am-11:00am, in the library! We study different books of the Bible and different liturgical topics such as a recent deep dive into Amos and an Advent study. We are currently studying Acts.
