One Story Sundays

Once a month, everyone in church will be reading, learning, and talking about the same story. This is an exciting way to engage in conversation on the car ride home, and in the week after. Everyone will interact with the Bible story in age-based ways with intergenerational learning aspects woven through the time of worship and learning. Details...

Holy Communion

Immanuel celebrates communion on the first and third Sundays.

  • All children, youth and adults are welcome to come and receive forgiveness in the bread and wine.  It is the Lord’s Table - and all are welcome!
  • Anyone coming to the Lord’s Table with an open hand will be served Holy Communion.
  • Read more about children and communion.

In-Person: The congregation will be invited forward to receive a wafer (served by a gloved pastor) and the wine/juice. Gluten free wafers are available.

At-Home Communion: If you're joining us online we invite you to join us and celebrate this meal virtually. God is with us wherever we are, and God unites us even when we aren’t together physically. Have bread or crackers and wine or juice ready as you participate in our livestreamed worship and connect with your sisters and brothers as we celebrate communion together even when we are apart.

Covid Protocols

We continue to encourage anyone to wear a mask who wishes to or is unvaccinated. If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, we ask that you stay home.  If you have been at church and then test positive for Covid, please let us know so we can alert others who have been in attendance to monitor their health more closely.

Parking

  • Free parking is available on the North, East and West sides of our building.
  • Handicap parking spaces are located near the north (main door) and west entrances, where automatic doors are located.
  • Handicap access: Our worship and education spaces are all located on one floor. There are no stairs. We can easily accommodate wheelchairs in our sanctuary. Ask an usher for assistance.

Restrooms

Restrooms are located adjacent to the Sanctuary (east restrooms) and opposite the Fellowship Hall (west restrooms).

  • All restrooms are equipped with Koala Kare changing tables.
  • We have modified the Women's restroom on the Sanctuary side (east side) of our building to be an accessible, multi purpose restroom.  With new signage, and a lock this restroom can now be a safe place for those that need additional assistance or space if needed.

Families with Children

  • Children are very welcome and encouraged to worship. More...
  • Rainbow bags, which include quiet activities for young children may be picked up by the West entrance to the sanctuary.
  • A nursery is available for children under 3. More...
  • A room dedicated for nursing mothers is available off the nursery. More...
  • Sanctuary Sundays: Once a month - Family Worship. Worship together as a family. While we encourage our Sunday School children to worship with their families each week, in addition to attending Sunday School, this is not always possible, so we support families who want to worship together by not holding Sunday School on the third Sunday of the month.
  • One Story Sundays: Once a month, everyone in church will be reading, learning, and talking about the same story. This is an exciting way to engage in conversation on the car ride home, and in the week after.
