Vacation Bible School

July 6-9, 9:00am-NOON at Immanuel

Vacation Bible School, a summer ministry of Immanuel Lutheran Church, is an opportunity for members to invite friends and relatives and neighbors to join us for a fun, energetic, purpose-filled Christian experience.  Children currently 3-years-old through 4th grade are invited to participate; anyone older can volunteer.

Immanuel All Ages Family Camp

July 17-18

Camp in Immanuel's backyard from a Friday evening to a Saturday afternoon this summer! We will...

• roast food over the fire
• sing camp songs
• play games
• make crafts
• visit the Round Lake Splash Pad
• grow in relationship with each other
• celebrate the beauty of God's creation in our own back yard!

We will have the availability of indoor plumbing and a roof in case of bad weather, as well as the flexibility for famillies to come and go. If you've never camped before, this is a great time to try it out! Tents are available to borrow, and the parking lot will be available for camper parking.

Middle School & High School Service & Learning Trips

Open to ALL students in Grades 6-12 (2025-2026 school year).  Experience Jesus as we serve & learn from our neighbors!

Scholarship funds will help reduce the cost and funraising opportunities will be available.

Church Outdoors

Local Daily Adventures  - August 9-13, 2026 (REGISTER)

Join Deacon Savannah August 9th-13th for a week of outdoor adventures in our own backyard! Each day, we will meet for a devotional, outdoor adventure, and lunch together at one of the many beautiful parks and trails we have near us in the twin cities metro area.

Come for one day or come for all! Please register online so we know who to look for at the trail head.  Contact Deacon Savannah for more information.

 

Sunday, August 9th – Richard T. Anderson

• Hiking (hilly terrain)
• Meet at trailhead
• Picnic lunch starts at 12:30pm with hike to follow (done around 3:30pm)

Monday, August 10th – Fort Snelling/Minnehaha Falls

• Hiking/Walking (mostly flat terrain)
• Carpool meet at Immanuel at 8:45 am, meet at Fort Snelling 9:30am
• Lunch at Sea Salt (finish around 1pm)

Tuesday, August 11th- Minnesota Valley State Trail

• Biking between Chaska & Shakopee (10-20 miles depending on group)
• Meet at Bloomington Ferry Unit Trailhead at 9:30 am
• Picnic (BYO) along the way (finish around 1-2pm)

Wednesday, August 12th – Willow River State Park

• Hiking/Walking (waterfalls)
• Carpool meet at Immanuel at 8:15 am, meet at trailhead 9:30am
• Hike with picnic lunch (BYO) to follow (finish around 1pm)

Thursday, August 13th –Lake Minnetonka

• Kayaking or canoeing (will need to reserve in advance)
• Carpool meet at Immanuel at 8:15 am, meet at park 9:30am
• Finish with picnic lunch (BYO) and finish around 12:30pm
