Great news!! No experience needed to participate in the Men’s Simpson House Lunch Service. We meet at the Immanuel parking lot, carpool over to Simpson’s NEW site in Minneapolis (you will receive address & details after you register) and serve a hot lunch to 30-35 homeless individuals in need. The Humanity Alliance prepares and delivers thousands of meals each week to families in need. Most of the families are in Carver or Hennepin County. Adults and youth (age 7+) can come to help prepare food. Immanuel confirmation students as well as adults have volunteered in the past and found it to be rewarding and fun! Join us in preparing/serving/enjoying meals with our partner congregations and their community! Every other month we join Salem Lutheran Church (4150 Dupont Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55412) in preparing and serving to-go meals. Redeemer Meals

We know your life is busy, but we also know you have a heart for helping others. We can help! Immanuel often has opportunities to assist with projects that require a very limited time commitment. Consider joining our On-Call Servant list! When a need arises, we will send an email and if you are available to help, let us know. It's that easy! Disciple Garden Benefits PROP
Volunteers will be planting gardens, weeding and then harvesting the produce from those gardens. Working together gives the opportunity of fellowship and the joy of digging in the soil and reaping God's bounty. Piecemaker Quilters
For more than 30 years, Immanuel Piecemakers have been sharing Christ’s love one stitch at a time. Since 1993, this faithful ministry has created and donated more than 3400 quilts, providing comfort and hope to people around the world through Lutheran World Relief.
Our Piecemakers will start our next season on Thursday, August 27 at 9:00 AM. (followed by alternate Thursdays until May) New volunteers are always welcome. “If you can tie a knot, you can quilt”.
