Middle School Service-Learning Trip - Duluth, MN

Grades 6-8 (2026-27 school year)
Cost: $200
The 2027 Middle School Service-Learning Trip cost is being subsidized by the Youth Scholarship Account. Thank you to all the Immanuel members who have contributed to make this possible! (actual cost per student to attend the week = $400)
Our group from Immanuel will be experiencing a week of service, faith and fun, serving Jesus along the North Shore during our summer 2027 service-learning trip! Taking in some of the sights of the North Shore while also partnering with local non-profit organizations working with the people of Duluth to create change. We're set up for a great week with many different experiences!
Packing List & Departure Information
Payments: $100 deposit - January 15, 2027.
$100 final payment - May 15.
Meals: Meals will be made in a group setting or eaten out.
Lodging: UW Superior, Wisconsin
Travel: Our Adult Leaders will be driving students to/from Duluth.

National Youth Gathering - Minneapolis, MN
June 28- July 2, 2027

Our group from Immanuel will be with other ELCA Lutherans in Minneapolis of a week service, faith and fun! Taking in some of the sights of the Twin Cities while exploring how Jesus is calling us into deeper relationships with our neighbors. We're set up for a great week with many different experiences in the city! The ELCA National Youth Gathering happens every 3 years, and we're excited to host this amazing event in the Twin Cities!
